An interactive art project by Dominik Stauch and Paul Le Grand
Situation: railway station square
Six flags line a central square in a city at the foot of the Alps. The coloring of these flags is based on the tradition of the 19th century veduta, miniature and panoramic painting, which made the Bernese Oberland famous all over the world. The colors therefore bear names such as summer night, glacier green, dawn red, alpine rose, shadow ground, moss bed, etc.
On the MySouvenir.ch website individual color combinations can be selected. The monthly evaluation of all entered inputs yields the flag combination, which is hoisted for a season.
